Please join us for a film screening of Bloki, a 2017 documentary about Polish housing directed by Konrad Królikowski.

Bloki tells the story of the often-reviled gigantic apartment complexes, known as bloki in Poland, built under communist rule to house thousands of people. In this documentary, the architects of these projects will discuss how the housing complexes came about while residents will explain how living in the bloki impacted their lives.

This program is organized in conjunction with Patchwork: The Architecture of Jadwiga Grabowska-Hawrylak.
