Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Cairo Modern, curator and author Mohamed Elshahed will discuss his recent book, Cairo Since 1900: An Architectural Guide. Cairo Since 1900 is the first comprehensive guide to modern construction in Egypt’s capital city. The book includes 226 buildings in 17 geographic areas built from 1900 to the present, and discuss its adaptation to an exhibition.
