Event Details

The New York metro area has a diverse range of buildings and structures where LGBTQ people gather to find support, safety, community, and pride. A panel of architects who designed recent projects focused on the LGBTQ community will discuss the design process for their work, including the cultural considerations and historical influences specific to designing space for this diverse community.

This program is presented in partnership with Build Out Alliancean organization that promotes and advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people serving openly and with pride in all roles within the building design and construction industry.
