Join us for a talk about the integration of academic, research, and clinical environments and how these functions are tied to and reflected in the design of academic medical center (AMC) campuses.

There is a sea change taking place across AMCs nationwide. Focusing on the prevalence of interdisciplinary collaboration, researchers, academics, and clinical professionals are embracing a mindset of growth. Nothing is taken for granted as fixed or unchangeable; and challenges are seen as opportunities for growth that require adjusting one’s thinking and way of working.

Responding to the need for interdisciplinary collaboration, AMCs are turning to architects and planners to update their existing physical environments, address operational efficiencies, and even expand into new markets beyond acute care.

The result is a greater need for healthcare, science, and research facilities designed, constructed, and operated to the highest international standards, whether the project is an addition or renovation to existing facilities in North America or in the Middle East. This event will focus on this exciting window of opportunity.
