Interior design leaders from COOKFOX Architects will present the work of COOKFOX through the lens of high-performance and biophilic design. COOKFOX has built their practice around a critical goal: to create ecologically sustainable architecture that supports mental and physical wellness. The presentation will illustrate biophilic and high-performance design strategies for pursuing these two goals in the workplace, as well as in residential and education environments. Through a series of projects, diverse in type and scale, the presenters will discuss specific wellness and high-performance design solutions and challenges. They will also offer insights into materials research and certification standards, integration of nature into the built environment, and strategies for embedding their design goals into design practice. The presentation will take place in COOKFOX’s LEED Platinum, WELL Gold certified workplace where participants will experience of the studio’s design goals in exploring the space and rooftop gardens including sunrise and sunset terraces with rooftop beehives.

Refreshments will be served on the Rooftop Terraces of the COOKFOX office.
