In a time of ever-increasing sea-level rise, projects conceived to protect New York City and the entire metropolitan area can range from small-scale, local solutions to large-scale, multi-jurisdictional projects that can be measured in billions of dollars. What are the best mitigation and adaptation strategies? How can we protect our people, cities, communities, landscapes, and infrastructure in the future?
